Grandmas of the World, Unite!

For those of you who still have grandmas. You're lucky.

My grandmothers are both gone. Grandma Cumings died when I was in high school. She never got to meet the Brick or the girlies, something which saddens me. I still miss her very much.
Grandma DeVries only knew the girlies when they were little. Thanks to her dementia, she insisted that they were both boys -- something which kept them from even considering short haircuts for decades. No doubt she's brewing up unsweetened kool-aid (she had diabetes) and serving it with windmill cookies for Grandpa, while they listen to Detroit Tigers ballgames. It was her favorite thing to do on Sunday afternoons...why stop now?
